How long does an RFID rollout actually take?

Around 28 days on average from proof of concept to production deployment. A POC runs for 30 days in one or two stores at no hardware or software cost for qualifying retailers. After the first stores the pattern repeats, so the length of a full programme depends on how many stores you run at once rather than on how long any one of them takes.

What inventory accuracy can we expect?

Retailers counting manually typically sit around 70% item-level accuracy. With ClarityRFID in production that moves to roughly 98–99.5%. In a recent three-store pilot with Lager 157 across Denmark, Sweden and Finland, stock accuracy reached 98–99.8% and SKU accuracy reached 97%.

Do we have to replace our ERP or WMS?

Accepted Answer

No. Clarity ingests, normalizes and reconciles tag reads against your existing ERP and WMS data in real time. It holds its own item-level data layer, so it is not dependent on a partner's repository, and a proof of concept can run on Clarity's own ledger before any integration work begins.

What if only some of our products are tagged?

That is the normal starting position. Clarity Store includes a non-RFID count, so the categories your suppliers have not tagged yet do not hold up the ones they have. Encoding and printer encoding let you tag at the store or the distribution center for anything that arrives untagged.

Are we locked into specific RFID hardware?

Clarity is hardware-agnostic across the major reader manufacturers, and reader choice stays yours. There is one documented exception: printer encoding, which prints a label and encodes the tag in a single pass, currently requires a specific printer model and GS1 registration.

Your account gets a named Customer Experience Consultant and a monthly check-in, on every tier. Incidents run through the support portal so the response clock starts on submission, and the account history is written down rather than carried in one person's head.

Per store, per month. Handheld devices are included, so counting more does not cost more, and fixed readers add a small uplift where you choose to install them. No enterprise price wall, and nothing is charged for the 30-day POC itself.
