We make retailers sure of what they have.
ClarityRFID gives retailers an accurate, item-level view of every product they own, from the distribution center to the store floor. Better accuracy means the product is on the shelf when a shopper wants it, which is the whole point.
Apparel, footwear, and general merchandise retailers, mostly at group scale.
Counting a department should take minutes.
Every item carries a small RFID tag with its own code. A reader picks up hundreds of tags a second without needing to see them, so a store team counts a whole department in minutes rather than days. Everything else follows from counting often enough to trust the number.
What goes wrong without it.
- Stock records drift away from what is really on hand
- Product sits in the stockroom while the shelf sits empty
- Shipments arrive short, or arrive wrong
- Online orders get canceled because the store stock was not there
What becomes possible.
- Frequent counts keep accuracy high instead of drifting between annual stocktakes
- Replenishment becomes a list rather than a judgment call
- Cartons get verified on the way out and again on the way in
- Fulfillment works, because the stock the website is promising is really there
Most of this runs quietly, every day.
These are the numbers behind the platform rather than the numbers in a pitch.
New name, same platform, longer horizon.
ClarityRFID was SML Intelligent Inventory Solutions until September 2025. The platform, the people, and the customer relationships came with the name change. What changed is who stands behind it.
Volaris Group
Our operating group. Volaris buys software businesses and keeps them forever, running each as its own company inside the vertical market it already knows. More than 275 businesses across 40+ vertical markets, in 60+ countries, and not one of them has ever been sold.
Constellation Software
Volaris is a division of Constellation, which has been acquiring and holding vertical market software companies since 1995 and is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
What it means for customers
RFID programs outlive the vendors that start them. An owner with no exit to plan for is the least glamorous and most useful thing about this arrangement.
What it does not mean
We are not one product stretched across markets. Retail is the only industry we build for, and that has not changed.
Two offerings, one platform underneath.
Every use case runs on one of them, and both read from the same item-level data layer rather than two systems that have to be reconciled.
Four regions, each with its own delivery lead.
UK and Ireland, the Nordics and Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Delivery leads live in the regions they serve rather than in one central hub, and they visit the stores they are responsible for, which is why a deployment plan tends to survive contact with the actual store.
It also means the person who scoped the work is reachable in the same working day as the team doing it, and that the same lead is in the room when the second and third countries go in.
The quickest way to know us is to use us.
A free POC in one or two of your stores counts your actual stock and tells you where you really are. No hardware cost, no software cost, and the findings are yours either way.
