We started in retail, and we’ve never left.
Here’s what that costs us, and what it buys you.
Built exclusively for retail. Not retail-and-everything-else.
Ask us to build something for a hospital supply closet or an auto parts warehouse, and the answer is no, every time. Most RFID vendors will say yes to almost anyone, because a tag is a tag to them. It isn’t to us.
ClarityRFID has never built for anyone but retailers. Every feature we ship exists to answer one question: does this help a retailer see their inventory more clearly? If it doesn’t, we don’t build it, no matter who’s asking.
Our team knows retail because they’ve lived it.
Most of the people building ClarityRFID came from retail and e-commerce before they came here. They’ve closed a fitting room at 9pm with three customers still browsing. They’ve run a cycle count that didn’t match reality and had to explain why to a regional manager who wanted an answer, not an apology. That history shapes the questions our engineers ask before they ever write a line of code.
Support tickets get answered. Relationships get built in person.
Members of our team regularly travel to customer sites, from stores to distribution centers to headquarters, because there’s no substitute for standing where the work actually happens.
And when you need help, you’re not routed through a rotating queue starting from zero every time. You get a named point of contact who knows your account, and who’s often been with us for years, not months.
Backed by Constellation Software, through Volaris Group.
You’ve probably felt this before: a vendor gets bought, the roadmap freezes, support goes quiet, and within a year the product you built your operations around is being sunset. Volaris runs on the opposite premise. They’ve never sold a company they’ve acquired, not once, and Constellation Software (TSX: CSU) has been investing in software businesses since 1995, publicly traded and built for permanence instead of a quick exit.
Choosing ClarityRFID means choosing a partner built to still be here in twenty years, not a bet on a startup’s runway.

Our roadmap is public. You get a direct hand in it.
Most software companies treat their roadmap like a trade secret. Ours is public. You can see exactly what we’re building next, and vote directly on what matters most to your business. If enough retailers need something, you’ll watch it move up the list yourself, because you’re the one moving it there.
We don’t build our pitch around bashing the competition, and we’re not rattled when someone else ships something good. We’d rather spend that energy building. If something you need isn’t on the roadmap yet, that’s exactly what the voting is for.

We’d rather prove it in your stores than convince you in a slide deck. That’s why we offer a free 30-day proof of concept: real hardware, real data, real results from your own environment, at zero cost. If you’re still weighing whether RFID is worth it, seeing it work inside your own four walls will tell you more than another vendor call ever could.

You’ll get the same person on the phone next year that you talked to today, a roadmap you can actually see, and a company that isn’t one bad quarter away from being sold out from under you. That’s the whole pitch.
